Roll-off dumpster rental in Marietta
Approx. 20 road miles from the yard, around 28 minutes.
Marietta is approx. 20 road miles north of the yard, around 28 minutes — same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call before noon for the best chance of same-day. It is a city of 60,972 at the 2020 Census, in Cobb County.
Construction and demolition waste is for the owner, lessee, tenant or contractor to remove (§5-8-060(A)), and the City says households, contractors and tree surgeons are responsible for disposing of construction debris. Ordinary garbage at single- and two-family homes is collected only by Public Works (§5-8-050(B)), so our Marietta work is construction and remodel debris — and we check the City's rules before booking a household clear-out.
Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Marietta
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- Annual permit — haulers apply each year to Public Works, 725 North Marietta Parkway, for a permit with a $100 fee plus the taxable gross revenue fee in the code (§5-10-060(A)). Permits are non-exclusive across the city (§5-10-070(A)).
- Downtown district — businesses in the Downtown Solid Waste Management District use the bulk sanitation containers the City provides (§5-8-050(D)).
- Construction waste is "industrial refuse" — the code's definition includes demolition and construction wastes from homes and businesses (§5-10-030(I)).
- Cobb County around the city — in unincorporated Cobb, haulers apply each year for a County solid waste permit, and County code lists roll-off equipment used solely for construction debris and inert material (§102-53(a), §102-64).

What comes out of Marietta job sites
Roofs in 10s and 20s, kitchens and baths in 15s and 20s, bigger remodels and demolition in 30s and 40s, and a 10 or 15 for concrete, brick and dirt. In Georgia a clean load of concrete, brick, rock, cured asphalt, dirt, stumps and limbs can go to an inert landfill — keep shingles and trash out of it (Rule 391-3-4-.06(3)(c)1, .04(4)(d)). No lead-acid batteries, liquid waste, hazardous waste or whole tires.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in Marietta
Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Marietta
Who may haul — the rule that matters: §5-10-060(A) has haulers apply each year for a Public Works permit — a $100 fee plus the taxable gross revenue fee — and §5-10-070(A) makes those permits non-exclusive for the whole city. Single- and two-family homes have their solid waste collected only by Public Works unless an exception is recommended (§5-8-050(B)), and downtown businesses use City containers (§5-8-050(D)). Construction and demolition waste is removed by the owner, lessee, tenant or contractor (§5-8-060(A)). We're licensed and insured.
In the right-of-way: §5-8-040(A)(2) prohibits a bulk container on City rights-of-way unless the public works director grants a permit.
On your driveway: we found no City rule for a roll-off on private property — that is the simple spot, and our crew confirms it with you. On a state route, GDOT's encroachment rules list no permit for a roll-off on state right-of-way.
Knocking something down: Georgia EPD wants a demolition notice 10 working days (Monday to Friday) before every regulated demolition, even when no asbestos is present, filed on EPD forms through GEOS. Homes with four or fewer dwelling units are exempt unless they are part of a larger project, and all regulated asbestos has to be abated before the building comes down. Asbestos waste may go only to a landfill EPD has authorized for it, sealed and labeled (Rule 391-3-4-.04(8)(b)), so it never goes in our containers — tell us if the survey finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Marietta
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
- 1
Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
- 2
We size it and quote it flat
You get one number that can cover delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard 7-day rental and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
- 3
Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, with protective boards under it if you want them. Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability. You do not need to be home.
- 4
Load at your own pace
Keep it level with the top rim and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, chemicals, oil and fuel, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, and fridges or A/C units with refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
- 5
We haul it and dispose of it right
The load goes to a permitted facility for that kind of waste — Georgia allows nothing else — with metal, concrete, wood and yard waste recycled through local facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Same-day or next-day, depending on availability — it is about 28 minutes from the yard. Call (470) 407-6185 before noon for the best chance.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Marietta?
Not on your driveway, as far as we found. On a City right-of-way, yes — a permit from the public works director (§5-8-040(A)(2)).
Who removes construction debris in Marietta?
The owner, lessee, tenant or contractor (§5-8-060(A)). The City says households, contractors and tree surgeons are responsible for disposing of construction debris.

Solid waste at single- and two-family homes is collected only by Public Works unless an exception is recommended (§5-8-050(B)), so we check the City's rules before booking a household clear-out.

Every city we cover
