Roll-Off Dumpster Rental across metro Atlanta
Every job we do is a roll-off: a large, open-top rectangular container that a specialized truck rolls onto your driveway, lot or job site, that sits there while you fill it, and that goes back on the truck when you call. Unlike a traditional commercial dumpster, it is a temporary container for one project, and then it is gone. This page is about the box itself — the sizes, the weight, the space it needs and the price — for anyone who just wants to know what they are renting.
The yard is at 4445 Wendell Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30336 — in the Fulton Industrial District, unincorporated Fulton County, just outside the City of Atlanta on the west side of town. Approximate road miles from the yard: downtown Atlanta about 10, Smyrna and East Point about 11, College Park about 13, Decatur and Sandy Springs about 17, Brookhaven about 19, Marietta about 20, Dunwoody about 21, Roswell and Tucker about 25, Kennesaw about 26, Norcross about 28, Alpharetta about 31, Johns Creek about 32, Duluth about 34 and Lawrenceville about 41.

How a roll-off works
The truck backs in and rolls the container onto the spot you agreed. You load it over the open top, keeping everything level with or below the top rim, because an overfilled dumpster cannot legally or safely be transported. Spread the load evenly — even weight distribution helps ensure safe pickup and hauling. Call when it is done; the truck comes back, loads it and hauls it.
Space is the thing to check before you book: a flat, stable surface such as a driveway, parking area or job site, about 20 to 22 feet of placement length for most containers, about 60 feet of access for the truck, and at least 25 feet of clear space overhead. Power lines, tree limbs, parked cars, trailers and equipment are the usual obstacles. If you will not be home, mark the spot with cones or tape.
What the flat price includes
Flat-rate pricing that can include delivery, pickup, the standard rental period and disposal up to the included weight. Rentals across metro Atlanta generally range from about $350 to $750 depending on the dumpster size, the type and weight of the debris, how long you keep it, the delivery location and any extra pickups or swaps. Two things can add to it: going over the included weight, charged on the disposal facility's weight measurements, and keeping the container past the rental period, at an additional daily or weekly rate. We explain all of it on the first call. No hidden fees and no hidden fuel surcharges.

Roll-off rental around Atlanta — where the loads go
Every load goes to a permitted facility authorized for that kind of waste — Georgia's rules allow nothing else (Rule 391-3-4-.06(3)(a)7). Which facility depends on what is in the box. A construction and demolition landfill takes C&D waste, inert waste and yard trimmings (Rule .01(20)); an inert landfill takes only earth, concrete, cured asphalt, rock, bricks, yard trimmings, stumps, limbs and leaves (Rule .01(37)); and household and commercial garbage goes to a municipal solid waste landfill, minus Georgia's banned items. EPD's list shows operating C&D landfills in Fulton County, in Roswell and Fairburn. If you would rather haul it yourself, Georgia makes the owner or occupant responsible for getting waste to a facility that operates under the rules, unless a collector has been arranged (Rule .04(5)) — Roswell's transfer station takes construction and demolition materials from Roswell residents only, and DeKalb County points Dunwoody residents to its Seminole Road Landfill at 4203 Clevemont Road in Ellenwood. On the road, every load has to be moved so nothing falls, leaks or spills, and covered when necessary to stop it blowing off (Rule .06(3)(a)3). We price it flat either way.

Answers
Roll-Off Dumpster Rental — your questions answered
What is the difference between a roll-off and a regular dumpster?
A regular commercial dumpster is a permanent bin emptied on a route. A roll-off is a temporary open-top container delivered for a project and hauled away when you are done. Roll-offs are what we do.
How full can I load it?
Level with or below the top rim, no higher. Overfilled dumpsters cannot legally or safely be transported, and even weight distribution helps ensure safe pickup and hauling. If you need more room, call and we can often swap it for an empty one.
Do I have to be home for delivery?
No. As long as we have clear placement instructions and the delivery area is clear of vehicles and obstacles, the driver places it where you asked. Same for pickup.
How quickly can you deliver?
Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability. Call before noon for the best chance of same-day.
Can I not just haul it to the landfill myself?
You can. Georgia's rules make the owner responsible for getting waste to a facility operating under the rules unless a collector is arranged (Rule 391-3-4-.04(5)). Check first that the facility takes your material and accepts loads from the public — some take residents of their own city only — and secure and cover the load. A roll-off is the option when the job is more than a couple of trips, or you would rather not make them.
What does a roll-off cost in Atlanta?
Rentals generally range from about $350 to $750 depending on the project, with no hidden fees. You get a flat rate up front that can cover delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and the included weight for the size you pick — about 1 to 2 tons on a 10 yard up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Call (470) 407-6185 with the address and what is going in and you will have a number before you hang up.
