Where we deliver around Atlanta

We run roll-off containers out of 4445 Wendell Dr SW — in the Fulton Industrial District, unincorporated Fulton County, just outside the City of Atlanta on the west side of town — to every city below. Distance is the first thing that changes. Approximate road miles from the yard: downtown Atlanta about 10, Smyrna and East Point about 11, College Park about 13, Decatur and Sandy Springs about 17, Brookhaven about 19, Marietta about 20, Dunwoody about 21, Roswell and Tucker about 25, Kennesaw about 26, Norcross about 28, Alpharetta about 31, Johns Creek about 32, Duluth about 34 and Lawrenceville about 41. Same-day or next-day is available in many areas depending on availability, and route timing decides the rest.

The second thing that changes is the law. In the City of Atlanta, a container in a City street needs a Department of Transportation dumpster permit (City Code Sec. 138-61), and any private contractor holding a permit from the commissioner may serve any customer who asks (Sec. 130-52). Sandy Springs grants non-exclusive contracts (Sec. 46-20), Marietta and Alpharetta issue hauler permits (Secs. 5-10-060, 38-34), Johns Creek requires registration and a city contract (Sec. 42-23), Smyrna a mayor-and-council permit (Sec. 86-56), College Park a non-exclusive permit for waste the city does not collect (Sec. 10-110.1(b)), and Duluth and Lawrenceville a C&D hauler registration (Secs. 13-26, 30-40). Norcross has an exclusive franchise that covers roll-offs (Sec. 36-204(b)), East Point requires owners to use the City for construction and demolition debris (Sec. 7-2005(a)), Decatur services all areas itself (Sec. 82-38(b)), Roswell collects household and commercial garbage (Sec. 24.2.2), Kennesaw says private haulers are not permitted, and DeKalb County, which serves Brookhaven, Tucker and Dunwoody, says private haulers are not permitted for commercial service — in those cities we check the City's rules before booking a container inside city limits. We are licensed & insured. Each city page quotes the section and gives the department to call. We would rather say it here than find out on delivery day.

The service area

Every city we cover, grouped by area

The run splits three ways: Atlanta and the cities close in, from College Park and East Point to Marietta and Brookhaven; North Fulton, Cobb and Dunwoody; and Tucker and the Gwinnett cities to the northeast.

Atlanta & close in

Atlanta itself, a short run east from the yard on Wendell Dr SW, plus Smyrna, East Point, College Park, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven and Marietta — roughly 10 to 20 road miles out (approx.). Each city keeps its own rules on who may haul and where a container can sit; East Point, Decatur and Brookhaven restrict private hauling, so those pages say we check the City's rules before booking. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call before noon for the best chance of same-day.

North Fulton, Cobb & Dunwoody

Dunwoody, Roswell, Kennesaw, Alpharetta and Johns Creek — roughly 21 to 32 road miles from the yard (approx.). Alpharetta licenses haulers by City permit and Johns Creek by City contract; Dunwoody uses DeKalb County sanitation and Roswell and Kennesaw run their own, so those pages say we check the City's rules first. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability.

Tucker & Gwinnett

Tucker in DeKalb County, plus Norcross, Duluth and Lawrenceville in Gwinnett County — roughly 25 to 41 road miles from the yard (approx.). Duluth and Lawrenceville have construction debris haulers register with the City Clerk; Tucker uses DeKalb County sanitation and Norcross has an exclusive franchise, so those pages say we check the City's rules first. Same-day or next-day, depending on availability; call early for the longer runs.

Service area questions

Which cities are same-day?

Many of them, depending on where the trucks are and when you call — before noon gives you the best chance. The closest runs from the yard are downtown Atlanta, about 10 road miles, and Smyrna and East Point, about 11; the furthest are Duluth, about 34, and Lawrenceville, about 41.

Do you serve places without their own page?

Yes, call — the neighborhoods of Atlanta, like Buckhead, Midtown, West Midtown and Downtown, and the communities between our cities are inside our run; they just do not have their own pages. Tell us the address and we will tell you which city's or county's rules apply.

Why do some city pages mention haulers and franchises?

Because most cities around Atlanta regulate who may haul, and a few keep it to themselves. Norcross has an exclusive franchise covering roll-offs, East Point requires owners to use the City for construction and demolition debris, Decatur and Roswell run their own collection, Kennesaw says private haulers are not permitted, and DeKalb County says private haulers are not permitted for commercial service in the cities it serves. We state what each code says, and in those cities we check the City's rules before booking a container inside city limits.

Is the price different by city?

The flat rate depends partly on the delivery location within metro Atlanta, so the furthest cities can cost a little more — we say so up front.

Where do the loads go?

To a permitted facility authorized for that kind of waste, as Georgia's rules require (Rule 391-3-4-.06(3)(a)7) — a construction and demolition landfill, an inert landfill or a municipal solid waste landfill depending on the load. EPD's list shows operating C&D landfills in Fulton County, in Roswell and Fairburn.
